Banks Bunch Park City edition
After the celebration, the whole family headed to Park City for a few days of relaxation and connection. We really needed this! The house was awesome–it had a racquetball court in the basement, along with weights, badminton, ping pong and volleyball. The kids had a blast down there! We also had the most beautiful deck to eat our meals and hang out in the hot tub. I do have to say–our picture taking efforts were subpar! We didn’t get one pic with all the cousins, or one pic of the whole family.

The next day we went on a hike to a beautiful lake. I can’t remember the name? Something to do with Blood? Cory, Rusty and Josh were brave enough to jump in the frigid mountain water. Blake REALLY wanted to. He got to his knees, but couldn’t convince himself to go the rest of the way.

We had a family pickleball tournament and Josh and I were the winners! It was a blast. I should really probably say Josh was was the winner and I was lucky enough to be on his team.

One of my favorite things was going to the Olympic Park and doing all the fun activities. Ropes course, alpine slide, drop tower, and everyone’s favorite, tubing down the ski jumps. IT WAS SO FUN.

One evening we all got to talk to Bode on his P-day! He’s in Panama on his mission and we really missed him this weekend.

We had long talks about the future of our family and ways to stay connected now that Alan and Sharon are gone. I feel so lucky to be a part of this Banks Bunch, and can’t wait for the many memories we’ll make in the future together.
