This was SUCH a fun Date Club. We had a curling lesson! Who knew that Lafayette had a beautiful facility where some of the Olympic Trials were held? Not us! Loved it.
It was the month of weekend travel! Just a few days after Josh flew to the MTC, I flew right over the top of the MTC! We spent the weened working on the Highland house. We got a ton done.
Owen’s first Crazy Cupid! Blake was sad that we had conflicts and couldn’t do it with Schofields this year, so we last minute threw it together and invited Halle and Owen. It was awesome!
I heart my new desk sooooo much
While we were in Utah working on the house Rusty and I snuck away for a Valentines Date night at this little themed bed and breakfast in AF. We had JCW for dinner, took a bath and lounged in out Tahiti Room. Fun!
The semi annual “Meat and Greet”. This is becoming quite the tradition!

Then it was time for Winter friend trips! Rusty and the HS crew went to Phoenix. They had a house with a Pickleball Court, a pool, ping pong….all the fun things. They did TWO high tech escape rooms, and had a great time being together in the sunshine.

Trip #2 was a ski trip to Steamboat with Bob, Sam and Dave. They had a condo right next to the lift, with a beautiful view and a rooftop hot tub. And, miracle of all miracles, in a winter with practically ZERO snow, they had several new inches at Steamboat.

Then it was my turn! Girls Trip to Cabo with Kasey, Lindsay, Kristin and Kristi! Wanna know what we did?? NOTHING. It was wonderful. We really didn’t leave the resort. Morning walks on the beach, breakfast, then sunshine, reading and playing in the Ocean. And lots and lots of chatting. We also did a favorite things night. But instead of gifts, we all brought links to our favorite clothing item, book, tv series, beauty item, recipe, family fun activity, and a few more. Then we compiled the links. I LOVED it. So easy, and I came away with so many good ideas. Always so much fun to be with these amazing ladies. They inspire me in so many ways.

Halle taught us all how to make rolled ice cream for FHE. Kari and I were in charge of Food and decorating the teacher’s lounge for Staff Appreciation Week.  Some fun things we did were to “Stock the Fridge” with delicious snacks, and hire the Maui Wowie Smoothie cart to come in for an afternoon….

IT HAS BEEN THE BEST FALL EVER!! So, so much fun, joy and pride watching the kids do what they love. Josh rocking the tennis court, Halle being a SUPERSTAR on Stage, and Blake playing flag football and hanging with his friends. The weather’s been great, the leaves are beautiful, and I am HAPPY!
