Oh Wow. This was a BIG month. The one where Halle goes to college. I feel like we lived a lifetime in just 30 days.
What better way to spend a summer afternoon that with a Stuffy Tea Party!! Like 4 days after we got home from Iceland, it was time to move Halle into the Dorms! Alllll the feels. So proud of her. So sad she won’t be with us all the time. On the drive up there she said, “Umm..you guys aren’t going to cry are you? That would be super cringy.” So, we didn’t cry. Right then. Her dorm was so cute and she can’t wait for her roommate to move in. Band camp started just a few hours later and for the next week she spent 12 hours a day with the band in the blazing hot sun. It was intense. Date club at the driving range. The sunset was unreal Spending one of our last summer days at the trampoline park with the Schofields! Happy 20th Anniversary to us! Annual back to school dinner and Father’s Blessings. Our family theme this year is “Promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate. Tiger Tennis begins! Josh and Ethan are #1 Doubles this year. I’m excited for all they will learn. Tennis team dinner at our house. We did Tacos and shave ice. It was a ton of fun! Josh had a tennis match in Ft. Collins so after I went and took Halle and Lauren to dinner. It was so fun to get to meet Lauren and hear all about their first weeks at school. Friday night Lights are Back! Go EHS Band! Wow. This is a terrible picture. But, it wasn’t a terrible night at the Jack Johnson concert! So much fun and took me right back to my BYUH days jammin to Jack on the beach. First day of the 8th grade! Gooooo Blake! I never did get a pic of Josh. But happy first day of the 10th grade to him too!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary with a night at the Art Hotel in Denver. We didn’t get away until late, so we had a 9pm dinner at Rioja. The next morning I surprised Rusty with a Mystery Picnic from Amazing Co. They sent clues to our phone, we solved them and they led us to a restaurant where we picked up a portion of our picnic. We ended at City Park where I set up our very own “luxury picnic.” We had a great time.
