The sun is out and Spring is coming!  I was enjoying a little nap at the park before this cute monkey jumped on my back.

I teach the 7 year olds turning 8 in Primary.  We had a lesson on King Benjamin that was pretty fun.  I think Max makes a very regal king.  Josie and Alicia are a great tent, and Ginger (Hayley and Ginger came to stay with Sarah) is an adorable Nephite Subject.

Chippy escaped, again.  This time we found her in the guest bedroom under the bed frame.  I think we should rename her Houdini.

Josh’s 4th grade concert.  They sang songs all about Colorado.  It was really fun!

Grace is a master baker.  This was the beautiful, and touching, treat we got to enjoy after our weekly Sunday dinner.

Blake reached his 100 mile goal!  I think 100 mile club is the best thing that ever happened to elementary school.  I love that they set and achieve goals, that they get to enjoy social time with the friends and get to be outside every day.  It’s just the best.

Halle had her first Middle School track meet!  She competed in the 100 meter dash and the long jump.  Track is a whole new world for our family and I’m proud of her for trying something new!

Josh was the first to 100 miles this year.  But, only by a few days!  He has been participating in so many fun things before school this year.  Robotics club, Choir, Green Team and 100 mile club!  I love that he is involved in so many things.

Luke calls our whole family, “Josh.”  It doesn’t matter if it’s me, Rusty, Halle, Blake, or the real Josh.  We are all “Josh.”  It’s adorable and I’m going to be sad when he can say everyone’s names.

We dropped Halle of at Autumn’s birthday party in Monument and went to spend the day in the Springs with Brett, Kami and the kids.  We had a really fun time at the Cave of the Winds Ropes Course and the Manitou Spring Arcade.

Josh and I had our first ever “Real” tennis match.  We served, kept score, switched sides, the whole bit.  It was a blast!  We discovered Orange Dot tennis balls at their tennis lessons and it has made the world of difference in their level of play.

In addition to being an escape artist, Chippy is also a magician  🙂

Date night at the Buell!  We saw An American in Paris.  Dancing was phenomenal.  Story line just ok.

Blake has to viciously guard his food when Rusty is around!

Pie Night at the Wrights!!  (March 14, 3.14) I think this is the 3rd or 4th year we’ve been doing this.  And we all agree….Jake makes the best berries pies EVER.  I could eat a slice of that pie every day and die a happy woman.

Hayley came out to stay with Sarah for a few days.  I definitely didn’t get enough time with her.  We had some great talks while she was here and we all hope she comes back soon!
