Winding down

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.” –Nelson Mandela
After all the excitement at Wimbledon, we could not get out of bed the next morning.  Finally we roused ourselves and went for a quick trip to the Tate Modern Museum.  I don’t know if we were just too tired, or if all Modern museums will be a let down after Pompidou, but we didn’t stay too long.  Instead, we decided to rent city bikes and make our way one last time to the Borough Market. Meat pies this time. Foodie heaven!

IMG_1010Although we had a perfect trip, and I can’t wait to explore more of Europe, I just have to say it. NYC still owns my heart.
