Blake Sleeps. Online school is exhausting. Truly. It’s mind numbing to have to stare at that iPad screen all day. And really…doesn’t this just capture how Feb feels? Super Bowl Sunday! We don’t care a stitch about the game but we love our food and the commercials! Abdominoplasty surgery for me. I’ve been thinking a lot about my spinal arthritis and how it’s going to affect me as I age. My tummy muscles were very stretched from my big babies. And we all know a strong core is the key to a healthy back! I decided to get it done now so I can hopefully enjoy the benefits for longer. This is how I walked for about 2 weeks. It’s been kinda brutal. I’m so grateful to Rusty for taking care of me and the kids. It’s not easy to have an incapacitated wife. He helped me shower, change my dressings, not comment on how awful the bruising looked, bring me food. I was/am so appreciative that he supported me through this. Valentine tradition. I love seeing these hearts hang on our doors all month long. We got a new TV for the basement, and it made a perfect stair slide! Valentine’s day was on a Sunday this year and so we introduced Rowberrys to Crazy Cupids Cafe. I was only 4 days out of surgery, so I stayed home. Josh was so sweet to me. He didn’t want to do it without me. It made me feel so loved. Day off of school = fun at the trampoline park! Masks and all. Blake sometimes can’t see his iPad screen very well when the sunlight streams in. So, he sits underneath this blanket for HOURS. I don’t know how he does it. I’d be so claustrophobic and hot!
