It was so fun to watch Blake in his first season of flag football.  Made even better by the fact that Truman was on his team!  My favorite moment was when Blake made an AWESOME catch and ran it for a few more yards.

Halle’s soccer team did great this year!  They only lost once or twice.  This cute girl got a goal in the last game of the season.  So fun!

Josh was a semi-good sport about tagging along to all the games.  Halle made him into a unicorn in this pic 🙂  When Blake played at the Erie Community Center fields Josh loved to go rock climb instead of spectate.

Black Rock decided to do a Fall Festival instead of a Spring Carnival this year.  The boys loved this giant sling shot.

Halle volunteered at the Popcorn station to get some hours for National Junior Honor’s Society.

Enjoyed a beautiful day hiking near the Flatirons with Joanna, Amber, and Noelle.  We wanted to hike to the top of the 2nd Flatiron but the trail was closed.  Boooo.

Blake also received his Bobcat award, but he wouldn’t let me take any pictures for fear I would post them on Instagram. Later that night I pinky promised him I would never post a picture of him without his express permission.  But here is the wolf pack doing a big wolf howl.

The boys wanted to earn some money so we put them to work washing the cars.  Blake did the Sequoia and Josh did the truck.  Josh was distraught when we came home from Aspen with a very dirty, muddy truck.  We ruined all his hard work!

Skyzone Trampoline park over our little fall break.  This place is fun!  And I was super sore the next day.  (And I thought my bladder might fall out) We really loved the jousting and the dodgeball.

The kids were so hot and sweaty and kept eyeing the icee machine, so we bought several large ones to share between us.

I found this in Blake’s backpack and it just melted my heart.  It describes him to a T!  Hello, I am Blake, I like to read, draw, write, play video games, eat chocolate muffins, play four square, have play dates, eat cake, do crafts, hold my hamster, wish I had a dog, play with my lego sets, watch TV.

Ghost Rockets!  I was testing out an idea for the 5th grade Halloween party.  We used old film canisters, water, and alka seltzer to make some awesome rockets.

One of our rockets landed on the roof so we had to go retrieve it.  Everyone wanted in on the action.  And, since it was such a nice, beautiful sunny day, we decided to read Wonder on the roof.  We are reading it as a family so we can go see the movie when it comes out next month.

Josh and Blake helped me build a new shelf where we can keep all our blog books and photo albums and all their wii games and remotes.  They did a great job!

General Conference Bingo!  I was in super mom mode and I made them a breakfast casserole and bought some Rhodes cinnamon rolls for them to cook in the oven while I was in Chicago.

Josh’s 5th grade concert!  They had a 50’s theme and it was so fun!  Josh’s favorite song was Witch Doctor.  And the crowd agreed!
