On Sunday when Nat and Carlie were here after church we ventured down to Stern Grove to see the San Francisco Ballet. This was a breathtakingly beautiful venue! It was so lush and green.
It took a little bit of work to find a spot to sit but we found one on a steep hillside with a great view. The problem was that we kept sliding down the hill 😊.
Rusty kept himself and Mave occupied while the rest of us had lunch and chatted until the performance began. It was really fun! There were four scheduled acts but by the end of the second one I decided we were a two act ballet family and we packed it up and headed home.
The Stern Grove festival is a free festival every Sunday for a bunch of weeks in the summer. They host various acts and musical performances. I’m really glad we gave it a shot. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
After we got home we enjoyed a delicious Fajita salad with corn on the cob and a peach pie we made from peaches we bought at the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market.
