Back to School Bash II

For me, it’s a toss up between bedtime, and bathtime, although if I had to pick one, I’d go with the bath. For some reason I just HATE giving the kids bath–I always end up frustrated, and they usually end up crying. Luckily Dad usually takes care of both bath and bedtime at our house….

I am so very proud of Halle, Josh and Blake for setting and achieving their 100 mile goal this year.  Black Rock got a grant to host 100 mile club every morning before school.  We chose to go 2 days/week.  We’d get up a little earlier than normal and be to school at 8am ready…

Our little Halle Berry turned 5 on Sunday! She had an awesome cowgirl party with her friends yesterday where they got to make balloon animals, make a barn picture frame, and get animal tattoos. She got so many fun presents and can’t decide which she should play with, so she just bounces from one thing…

13.1 miles.  Whew….glad that’s over.  The Georgetown 1/2 marathon was a BEAUTIFUL race up in the Colorado mountains.  The temperature was perfect, the sky was blue.  It was the perfect day for running.  I got to race with lots of my girlfriends from the Ragnar, including my lovely sister, Nat.  She drove home from Utah…
