Josh ROCKS!! Josh won the “YOU ROCK” award at school, AGAIN! He had won this award almost every single year of elementary school. I am so proud of his hard work, his character, and his kindness toward others.

Running buddy reunion. It was great to be together, but we wish it was for a happier reason. Ed McConnell passed away suddenly from a heart attack on Jan 13th. We all came together to support Kim and the kids at his funeral at Calvary Bible Church. Ed was an incredible man. His life was framed in faith and he was a good friend to so many. His Celebration of Life service was just that–an incredible tribute to a wonderful man. Kim and Quinn both spoke and shared wonderful memories full of love and faith. My faith in Christ and in his plan for us was strengthened and edified as I listened to their words and the words of the Pastor. Ed, you leave an irreplaceable hole, but your memory will be a catalyst for many to strengthen family relationships and strengthen faith in Christ.
Garth Black (married to Andrea Sheffield and a colleague of Ed at National Instruments) stayed with us so he could also attend the funeral. They will also be in London at the same time as us this summer! Garth had so many great stories to tell about Ed and we loved spending time with him.
STELLAR super moon! SO BEAUTIFUL.
