Disneyland with the gals

I had the best weekend with my HS friends. I turned right around from Portugal and left for Anaheim 2 days later. Going to Disney with friends is so much fun because waiting in line is just more time to chat. And we never run out of things to say. I love being with people who have known me in all my iterations. And we always pick up right where they left off. They are amazing mothers, women of faith, and just plain fun.

We ate delicious food, rode all the rides we wanted and just had a great time being together.

One of my favorite moments was on the last night. Everyone else was pretty tired and headed back to the hotel. But Adrienne and I were determined to shut the park down. We were in California Adventure, and we got in line for Monsters After Dark at 9:57, 3 min before closing. We waited about an hour and we were the VERY LAST gantry lift of the night. It was so cool to be in the almost empty building, and then walk through the deserted park after. We went to Downtown Disney and got one last piece of Churro Toffee. Best way to end the trip!
